Hear yourself as an alien, robot, or chipmunk; play your voice backwards, sped up, slowed down, with an echo, or by using other effects. Crack yourself up or weird out your friends and family--it's simple and fun.

Making crazy new voices for yourself is easy with Ultra Voice Changer. The home screen is user-friendly, and a detailed Help page answers any questions you may have as you explore all the app's options. (For example, if you hear excessive static during playback, try lowering your recording volume and make a new recording using this lower recording volume setting.)

Word to the wise: keep in mind that a one-minute audio file will be about 1.3 megabytes in size. Unless you're on an unlimited data plan with your carrier, you may want to minimize sending audio recordings via e-mail using this app.

Note: A known audio recording issue currently exists with Motorola Atrix devices. Motorola's next software update should fix the issue, but recording with that device is problematic at the moment.

Note that if you purchase 'More Voices', you're actually purchasing the app containing these additional voices -- it's call 'Deluxe Ultra Voice Changer'. You need to install this app to get the additional voices.

NOTE: When recording, try using different recording volume levels (look for the recording volume control within the app) in order to find the levels that work best for your device. The default recording level of 1 may not be optimal for your device, so you may need to play around with that setting to get good recordings..
