Vocanote uses text-to-speech to give you the ultimate in one touch recording. With a single tap you can record a voice note, have it converted to text, and sent as an email or SMS. This is awesome for capturing thoughts and reminders when driving, walking, or any other time you're on the move. By converting speech to text, it frees you from listening to long audio recordings of notes and writing them down later on. Unlike other apps that send emails semi-automatically, the email is sent completely in the background. There's no email app to select and no Send button to push, it sends directly to a preset default email address. You can have up to four recipients; the default and three selected by user-defined voice tags.
You can opt to have your message read back to you, and provided you have the correct language downloaded, Vocanote takes notes in many languages. A log is included in Vocanote, so you can see all the messages you have sent. The Voice Recognition requires a data connection, since the recognition is performed on Google's servers. VocaNote is ad-supported, but you are given the option to turn off the ads if you really can't stand ads. Yes, really.
